Donation Guidelines

We can accept donations during business hours only. Donations left outside of business hours are subject to weather damage and theft. 

​

We are happy to accept donations of the following: clothing, house goods, toys/games, seasonal items and decorations, antiques, collectibles, mirrors/pictures/picture frames, clocks sports equipment, footwear, stationary/school/office supplies, jewellery, purses, craft/art supplies including fabric and sewing supplies, home decor, books, tools, hardware, lawn & garden equipment, appliances and electronics in good working orderWhile we accept books we do not accept textbooks or encyclopedias.

Individual donated items, that generate a revenue of $200 are subject to a tax receipt. Please speak to staff/volunteers when donating an item, if you believe it qualifies.

Items We Cannot Accept

Furniture

We no longer carry furniture, as we do not have the storage space or the sales floor space.

This includes mattresses and box springs for sanitation reasons.

Safety Gates/ Enclosures
Infant Bath Seats

Baby Walkers

Bassinets & Cradles

Heavily regulated item that we cannot sell. 

Helmets

Bicycle, hockey, motorcycle, ski, snowmobile etc.

They are a heavily regulated item and we cannot accept them at this time.

Opened Cosmetics, lotions, household products etc.

We can only sell these products if they have the manufacturers seal on them to ensure there has been no tampering.

Cars and Booster Seats

Heavily regulated item that we cannot sell. 

Blinds

Blinds are required to have child safety features to prevent choking.

Donation drop off at our back door accessed via our Afton Avenue back parking lot.
